How long does the portrait photo session last?
A typical photo session for pet and child/family portraits lasts 45 to 90 minutes. I will not leave until I am satisfied with the images.
Do I have to purchase a portrait package?
Yes. Each package price includes the photo session as well as the prints. Additional prints and products are available for purchase with the selection of any portrait package.
Can I adjust the sizes of the pictures included in the packages?
If you have questions or concerns about the package options, please contact me. We can work together to meet your needs.
What happens if there is inclement weather on the day of the photo shoot?
If the weather is not suitable, we will reschedule the shoot for another day.
Can people be included in the pet portraits?
Yes, definitely. If you prefer to be in the photograph, I am happy to include you in the portrait(s).
Do the packages include digital files of the portraits?
Unless noted otherwise, the packages do not include digital files of the portraits. You will have the option of purchasing any or all of the digital files for the services or packages that do not include the digital files. Engagement, Wedding, and Event services typically include the digital files in the package price.
Do you offer studio setting portrait sessions?
No. I believe pets (and people!) are more comfortable in a natural environment. I prefer to shoot mostly outdoors or indoors during the day to capture the beautiful natural light on my subjects.
Do I have to pick only one pose for all of the portraits in the package, or can I choose different poses for the different portrait sizes?
You can select as many different poses as you like. You are not limited to one pose per package. The only exception is the set of wallet portraits. Each set of 4 wallet portraits need to be the same pose.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes. Gift cards are available for each portrait package option. Photo sessions make great gifts. Contact me for more information.
